Dedra is originally from Corpus Christi, spending most of her time on the beach, and moved to San Antonio in 2009 where she has been a dental assistant for 7 years.
She joined our team at the beginning of 2013, and her enthusiasm and love of dentistry has been a wonderful addition. Dedra has been teaching the next generation of dental assistants at Haven For Hope along side Dr Beltrane for the last 2 1/2 years. In her spare time she has a passion for her collection of old and new vinyl, Billie Holiday, B.B King and Ella Fitzgerald being her top 10 must haves.
Dedra’s people skills will put you at ease immediately. We are most proud of her simile and when you come to the office you can see the portrait Dr. Beltane has painted of her.

Claudia is the newest member of our team with six years experience as a dental assistant. She has expanded functions training and is certified in Nitrous Oxide, Coronal Polishing, and Pit and Fissure Sealants. She is well versed to discuss billing and procedures if you have any questions. You will always catch this upbeat girl smiling when she greets you as you first enter our office.
In her spare time she attends local Zumba classes and enjoys baking for her family, and spending time with her young son and husband.
Charla had been a dental hygienist for over 20 years and has been with our staff since 2008. Whether doing a routine cleaning or treating a patient for periodontal disease she has made all our patients feel at ease in the dental chair with her experienced gentle touch. Our versatile hygienist loves chickens and has her own YouTube channel – Up On The Roost My Little Homestead with weekly episodes on poultry and gardening. We have adopted her prize rooster, Ritchie, as our office mascot: “Chickens don’t have teeth. Don’t be a chicken! Come see the Neighborhood Dentist”. She has two young children, a son and a daughter, who are home schooled and love playing at the park with her.
